Hi, friends! Like Eric Phillips I'll post a gaucho piece. 😉 My father used to make me repeat this piece many many times... A bit of him is here, in this recording. From Abel Fleury, Milongueo Del Ayer.

    • Moyses Lopes That's so great! My mother played, but nothing fancy - just strumming chords to folk songs. It's so amazing that you are carrying on in your father's love for the guitar.

Moyses Lopes That is great, Moyses. You play it with such abandon. Your feel for the music is deeply imbedded in you.

    • Moyses Lopes Excellent!  Have you ever heard Abel Carlevaro's performance of this piece?  He recorded under the pseudonym of Vicent Vallegos.  You can find it on Youtube.

    • Stefanie Mosburger-Dalz Great playing here and on the Brouwer above. I don't know this second one. Can I ask you who wrote it? It's such an interesting melody. The Brouwer, of course, is just a classic.

    • Eric Phillips Ojos Brujos is also by Brouwer, both this one and Cancion de Cuna come together in Max Eschig Edition as 2 popular cuban themes.
