Ariel Ramirez – Balada Para Martín Fierro
This is from a 1968 Argentinean film called Martín Fierro based on an epic poem by the same name. Fierro is a renegade gaucho, something like an Argentinean cowboy. I find this music to be quite sad and beautiful.

Thanks for sharing this with us, Eric! A beautiful, melancholic piece I had never even heard of. You give the impression of having played this for years, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's another example of your ability to master repertoire after a day or two of practice! Either way, a wonderful performance.

Came late to Johan S birthday. A week in bed and 12 days work including night calls. But this weekend off work. and started on this one
This is a Challenge. Fast , contrapuntal and tremolo. My first shot.

Probably before the Bach. BTW on BWV I continued this Latin recording sthraight on with the Bach and have uploaded it that from- Too late - but think I ought- and not really satisfied
Looking forward to last week of April in my beach house.
