I have been out of town for a few days but am happy to see such great pieces being posted. I thought I would join the challenge this week by posting a few Antonio Lauro pieces. I was fortunate to have met Maestro Lauro back in 1984 and had a chance to play for him a couple of times. Additionally, I was his US agent briefly in the mid-1980s and assisted in the publication of two pieces with Guitar Solo Publications in San Francisco. The following post is a nice little Estudio by Lauro, entitled La Catira. It is in three parts, of which I am performing only the first part, Acordes.

Julio Sagreras - Nostalgia Op 19 No 3
Sagreras is, of course, known for his method books, but he also has some nice repertoire pieces at all different levels. This is more on the beginner end, and therefore perfect for me! 🙂
