  Derek Thank you. I love that music, love other peaces of Brower too, for example dia de novembre or danza charakteristika or the estudios sencillios. But I have to work a lot on it. I wish you joy with that- he knows a lot about the behaviour of the guitar

  Stefanie Mosburger-Dalz This is beautiful as well, Stefanie. I just realized they are in the Eschig edition of Brouwer's Guitar Works (which I recently acquired). This is a good collection of his works.

I started to work on these peaces in December and it still is clumsy but I try to improve during the challenge. I made these movies on saturday and I was disturbed by the camera, I hope it is getting better while repeating the procedere. It is a lot of work and love in it...

  Stefanie Mosburger-Dalz you're right, the extension is not easy to do there. You can use alternate fingerings like an open B and the D on the third string or eventually a finger extender 😄

Dilermando Reis - Uma Valse e Dois Amores

This is a fun piece. The title means "A Waltz and Two Loves" and I take that to mean that there are two "voices" carrying an alternating melody, one high and one low. I'm not sure if I pulled that off, but that's what I was trying to do.

I think this one might need a bit more work, as there are still several trouble spots. I got through it, though.

  Jack Stewart Thanks, Jack. I can hear that similarity too. The many secondary dominant chords definitely give it that feel. Also, the chromatically descending dominant chords at 0:40 sound like popular music as well.
