- For exercises 4-7, it is important that you emphasize the melody and make the accompaniment quieter.

Hi Borbala. This has been a very interesting and useful two week intensive and I've enjoyed taking part in it. I'm sorry that I haven't yet posted any videos for the first week but here is my attempt at Prelude no 10.
Thank you very much for taking the time to present this to us and I'm looking forward to the next one (maybe on how to look good on a video :-))! I'll try to post a couple more videos for the group 1 exercises later.

Thank you for your video.
No problem I know all of you are very busy have many different things to do so I'm glad that you could manage this one anyway.
I can see how nice you worked on these technical details for the piece, legato and shiftings were basically very nice. Only the stretching position chors was a bit too direct I mean the movement, you could prepare for it a bit more earlier with stretching your fingers to the necessary position. And the very last shifting to the second position was not really well prepared with your elbow. But everything else was great. Your tone color is really beautiful. I would say just try to experiment with the musical flexibility a bit more. Now it sounds a bit metrical to me, you are making tenuto each first note of each measure. Just pay attention that if you want to guide my ear at listener you should try to hold it a bit more together like trying to make bigger volume progression or to try to accelerate a bit more. Just listen to my version and try to follow all the musical instructions. Try to exaggerate all these musical instructions to try out different versions, and then you can decide which one you liked the most and stay with it. Listen to yourself back, that helps also a lot. And if you would sit only with the score without the guitar and would try to imagine these musical details, that could be really very helpful to figure out exactly what you want to do. If you try to figure out where fit character for the musical material that can also help you with the expression. I recommend to you to try to be flexible as possible and I'm very sure that you will enjoy the music even more.
