Brouwer Pieza sin Titulo #2 update

This is much closer to what I envision for this piece - though I bungled the recap a bit. All in all I think this works pretty well.

    • Jack Stewart o, this is great. I played this piece once,  a lifetime ago, but the way you play it makes it more understandable for me. I’ll dig up the score….

Brouwer Tres Apuntes #1 first draft

I had this piece worked up roughly about 4 or 5 years ago. I have decided to reclaim it. This recording is pretty rough. Lots of mistakes and it is very disjointed but most of the parts are there - just needs much more work. I hope to get a better recording tomorrow.

    • Jack Stewart Another great Brouwer piece. So glad you are posting these.   It is coming along nicely and I love the driving rhythm and the feel of controled chaos the piece emotes. I look forward to your next take.

    • Jack Stewart Like Dale said, great energy and driving rhythm, but then you pull it back in the freer section. I like the contrast.

Jack Stewart Not rough at all, Jack. Again, you got Brouwer's spirit to this piece. Gracias!

    • Jack Stewart that was a great first shot Jack!! I've never played it myself but a friend of mine did many years ago, very beautiful Brouwer's work. Did you leaned out the 3 movements 5 years ago? That'd be a nice set of pieces to play at a Community Concert at some point ❤️

Eric Phillips Thanks, Eric. I recently listened to Hoppstock's version and realized how much more work I have to do. I doubt I will ever equal his version but I do see where I can make improvement.
