This is the result of my practice for the week. Needs more more work, the thrills, the chain of chords in the last section, a wrong note here and there... but there it is. I was pretty nervous by the way.... ;) recording myself is... :-S

Emma well done 😉. This piece has so many Notes and it is really a challenge to find enough practice time within a week and also think about what Ornamentations to use 🧐

    • Emma brava! You did it! As said before, it’s quite a challenge to produce all thèse notes, colours and character changes and ornamentation. You did a great job, Emma. Thanks for posting 👏

    • Emma I am happy to see your post finally, well done! The piece is harder than it looks, so we all need more time. Recording myself always makes me nervous, but the more I record, the less nervous I become, so keep on!

Emma well done Emma! It’s a long section to record. I find my finger start to wander and forget what I wanted them to do.

Emma Awesome! This is an especially hard section, it doesn't look to frightening at first, but going into all of the details in this section really covers up some troubling spots! I am happy that you worked yourself through that section, and you are right: every section probably needs more than one week to go through! But I encourage you to peak at the end of the piece, because the campanella passage is just soooo much fun to play! 🧙‍♂️🙌

I said the other day I would upload my attempt at the second section. Some improvement is needed!  I'll keep practicing with the 3rd section!

    • Derek well done. These 4 variations are very demanding in their apparent simplicity.    Great result in such short time!

Derek Good job! In all its roughness we already get the musical idea and the separation of the different voices, I enjoyed that! 🧙‍♂️

I was sick last week and missed three days of practice but I really wanted to keep up so here is my section two. So here it is warts and all. This means I will be behind for section three but, oh well!

What I found easy - the inspiration to play because it has really grown on me and playing it is very enjoyable.

What I found difficult- playing pipi,

playing without looking so you’ll notice I had to memorize a couple of sections that jumped around a bit. I wish I was better at playing without looking but that’s never been my forte. I suppose that’s something I should practice!
