Still plugging away with 1,2 and 4, although I have had a look at some of the others. Mainly been trying to get 4 to a decent level though I've also got lots of other pieces which I need to finish soon as well.

Easy (number 4). Bars 4 to 6 aren't too bad.

Hard: bars 7 and 8 are still tricky as are bars 19 to 21

Video attached it fell to pieces a bit at the end but this was about the 15th attempt so it is as it is

  Martin Thanks Martin - I was determined to record it all of the way through some of the attempts failed in the first couple of bars others got through the first tricky bit (the harmonics) and then failed because I was so relieved to get that far that I forgot to carry on playing! I'm not quit sure what you mean by the last question 'do you actually play by heart'

  Martin Thank you Martin - I was hoping that you meant that it's very kind of you - It was the 'scream' emoji that made me wonder if you meant something else. Yes I've played it that many times over the last couple of weeks that I try to play now 'from memory' - but playing by heart makes the compliment so much nicer :-)

Here I'm trying Martin fingering suggestion for the last three measures of Koshkin #1. I like this better. And thank you for letting me know that I should pluck the bass notes.

Study 9 update

It's slowly getting better. The struggles are the same as above, but I'm getting incrementally better. I think I'll be working on this one well past the end of the challenge.

  david robinson David, that was so good! I really like your feel again. It has just a touch of staccato that works nicely for this piece. Great work on a great piece of music!
