Martin Blaise Laflamme   Hey guys,  I didn't have time during the challenge to start on this study, but was so impressed by the way both of you played it, I figured I'd give it a try.  It is not memorized and polished like yours, and there are some mistakes in this take.  I wanted to do enough work on it to at least benefit from the study's intended purpose.  Please let me know your thoughts and if I'm on the right track.  Thanks!

Blaise Laflamme Martin Great advice from you, as usual.  Thanks again for your help!

On the ascending scale,  I'm concerned about achieving the higher speed;  I think either my right handrest strokes may not be traveling at the proper angle as it ascends to the next string or my fingers are not returning quick enough (reflexive action) for the speed with accuracy needed.  Maybe I need more practice with Rasgueados to strengthen Extensor muscles ( like the flamencos).  Not sure what the correct diagnosis is.  Maybe Martin can see it...

Barney YEAH! Great to see you tackling this beast! And thank you for sharing your progress even if it's not finalized, it is so valuable to see the progress of a monster like that!

For the ascending scale, you did a great job on that one! It's just important to stay relaxed within every single note of that scale, especially for ascending scales! I'd recommend to start very slow and work on it with speed bursts. Training your extensors is essential for that as well and as you've already pointed out! Good job!
