Guitar Method: name one and why?

Each of us probably used many guitar methods in their journey. this is not for a specific level. mention one method(s) that really had an impact on you and why.

in this case I will assume most of us will reply (Sor/Giuliani/Carcassi/Lobos/Brouwer) Etudes. I will not include these considering that the question is for a complete method.

I will start myself: ( I will limit myself to one answer so you can read it without getting bored already 🙂 )

- Emilio Pujol escuela razonada de la guitarra : Very structured and maybe not the most modern technique, but having (mechanical) exercises outside the studies has really changed and improved both hands. I own both Spanish and English translation. Also this is based on School of Tarrega (if you compare this to Pascual Roche`s Tarrega school this is much more structured and organized).
Thank you and looking forward to learn about your experiences!

    Hello,

    I will give two names:

    - Pumping Nylon from Scott Tennant

    - The Black Box from Thomas Viloteau

    (both so useful and amazing!)

In terms of the actual "method" per se, I learned using the Frederick Noad books and found them to be amazing, especially since there are a lot of pieces that can be used for concert programming. As for pure technique I'll DEFINITELY say Pumping Nylon and would also add Gohar Vardanyan's "Killer Technique."
