    Again all the points made by Gulli are very useful. I enjoyed playing this piece as I do enjoy melodies on the bass strings - I alway imagine I'm playing a cello :-)

     

    Two very small comments I have are 1) experiment playing the A in Bar 11 on strings 5 to keep tone consistency (it's also good for learning the notes on a single string) and 2) it is interesting that the  2 beats per bar doesn't appear to be shown in the first bars but is highlight with the accent markers shortly afterwards - does Gulli not want a compound duple feel played in the first few bars?

    Maybe a final point regarding the RH thumb technique - an interesting discussion about David Russell's technique would show the different thought processes about it :-)
