Stefanie Mosburger-Dalz Great performance, Stefanie! Thank you for sharing another beautiful Piazzolla with us! If you allow me I would like to do a note: The correct name of this piece, in Spanish, is "Chiquilín de Bachín", and has a special meaning in Argentina. It was composed and inspired by the life of kids that sold flowers on the streets. Bachín was a restaurant in Buenos Aires, with many children selling flowers in front.

Stefanie Mosburger-Dalz I like how you play this Stefanie. I've got the book by Gary Ryan but I haven't played that one.

Stefanie Mosburger-Dalz This is beautiful, Stefanie. Very haunting. I take it from Derek's comment that this is a Gary Ryan arrangement of a Piazzolla piece. You give it a wonderful performance.

Here's my version of another of the Gary Ryan arrangements of Piazzolla - recycled from a previous challenge! - I've just noticed that you can see the reflection of the image on the phone on my guitar :-)

Derek Well done, Derek. I had seen that Ryan has a collection of Piazzolla arrangements but had never heard any. Great job.

Derek yeah! I played it so fast in the beginning and than worked back because I am a dreamer;-) I love that peace. Do you know the version of Gaitano Veloso? I love to see him sing and play that peace.

As promised to Eric here is the first of my Ponce Preludes - Number 1 (in the12 prelude publication). There are some tricky chord changes as no doubt you will notice!

The second and last (for now) Ponce Prelude Number 6 (12 prelude publication). I started this one before number 1 and I think it may be a bit easier. Still needs a bit of polish!

Derek Great job on these Ponce Preludes. It reminded me that I have this collection of Ponce Preludes and used to play them (well, some of them). I'll have to reacquaint myself with them. Thanks for the reintroduction.
