What Guitar do you play?
What is the instrument of your choice? 
I play a Paco Santiago Marin - XXX Anniversario! This guitar has been with me all my university years, and I have learned so much on this instrument! It has a lot of marks, so I intend to have my top redone within the following years, but I am still in love with the sound of this instrument! But it also has its shortcomings. It’s not very easy to play, guitars with a more modern approach require much less effort!

I’m playing a Rene Baarslag. Dutch born luthier in Granada. 1993. Spruce top, Indian rosewood. I’ve played it from its early days and we are very close.

joosje for Juan Alonso: some more detailed photos of the 7th string. Length 72cm. The tuning may vary: Re, Si or even La, depending on the piece. I use a Mi string,, but there are special strings for this purpose. I use this in Coste/Mertz, also Dowland or other lute arrangements (but it’s still only 1 extra string,… )
the main idea was to use it in a guitar duo, with both 7string guitars, to have more harmonic depth and wider range in bass notes for our arrangements.

I play Wilhelmy guitars, he's one of our best Canadian luthier and a friend. I currently own and play a 1999 Cedar top with Honduran back and sides that I bought 2 years ago from the first owner. I previously owned a 1991 with same specs Wilhelmy built for me and it was sold in 2005. I'm now waiting for my next one, ready in a few weeks, a 2022 Spruce top with Brazilian back and sides. In fact I bought the 99 because I wasn't able to wait for 2 years playing on another one

Eric Phillips you're right, at least for me. He's an interesting person outside of being an awesome artisan and we connect on a lot of topics, I have a lot of admiration and respect for him and his work. Knowing his thinking about sound and instrument making makes the connection to the guitar even more special.

- No-name Les Paul copy, nicknamed "Groovy Trouvé" ("Trouvé" is French for "found". I found her abandoned in a basement because the headstock was busted. It was red. My dad fixed the headstock and I refinished it. Redemption is sweet!)
- Gibson Les Paul Standard - 1969 reissue, nicknamed "Les Paulita"
- Fender Squire Telecaster, nicknamed "Brenda"
- Fender Stratocaster (Made in Mexico), nicknamed "Wanda"
- Samik Bass, nicknamed "Bassie Bass"

- Alvarez, nicknamed "Dusty" (mainly because I don't play it that much and it gathers dust)
- Cordoba C7, nicknamed "Miranda" - I use this one for practicing drop-D tuning songs

I started with a $50 Suzuki guitar which I bought during the pandemic to learn classical guitar. After a month or so when I realized I'm getting serious with it, I changed to an Alhambra 1c. Then traded in with the same shop within a month to Alhambra 50 Anniversary Mahagony (similar to their 6P model) which i've used for the longest time.
Start of this year, I finally gotten a new guitar- made by Frehnch luthier Jean Noel Rohe, a 2014 spruce top - which is what I'm mainly playing with.

Blaise Laflamme Lol I don't have 4 classical guitars now. Gave the 50 dollar suzuki to my nehphew and traded in my second one. But I do still kept my first guitar (which is basically unplayable) and a Larrivee in case I decide to play acoustic again.
I don't have much experience with other cases so I cannot really compare but I do love the Visenut case. It feels really secure with the double lock action. I've tested it but the rubber seal is suppose to keep moisture and prevent water seeping in. The storage inside is really spacious too which is big enough for me to keep my Sagework guitar support.
