Share a personal tradition or ritual you have related to your music practice!

Hello fellow tonebuddies! 🎸

As we all dive deep into the world of classical guitar, each of us develops our own unique rituals and traditions to enhance our practice sessions and performances. These personal touches not only make our musical journey special but can also be a source of inspiration for others.

For me, before every practice session, I make sure that all my tools are in place. Metronome? Check! Sand paper? Check! Scores? Check! Chocolate? Hell yeah! This helps me be comfortable with my instrument and be ready for a successful practice session!

What about you? Do you have a personal tradition or ritual related to your music practice? Whether it's a particular warm-up routine, a special place you like to practice, or even a lucky charm you keep close when performing, I'd love to hear about it!

Share your traditions in the comments below, and let's inspire each other with our unique approaches to the art of classical guitar!

Happy practicing! 🎵🎶

I have a warm up routine that I've used for eons. But most importantly, a strong cup of tea!

  • I am 78 y/o so my hands are always cold and stiff. I have a little heater I use to warm up my hands. along with exercises to losing them up.   If  I don't my fingers are like drunken sailors trying to find there way around the fret board. It can be very frustrating.
