Black Orpheus! Music by Luis Bonfa (Manha de Carnival) arranged for guitar by Baden Powell, and Antonio Carlos Jobim (Felicidade) arranged for guitar in the incredible masterpiece of Roland Dyens. Moreover, this movie, with its score, Inspired an anthropology student at the University of Hawaii named Ann Dunham to go on a date with an African-American man in her Russian class. Turned out he was not African-American, he was from Kenya, named Barack Obama. They got married, and she gave birth to Barack Hussein Obama Jr. who went on to become one of the most important American leaders in this century. Yes, without Black Orpheus, Barack Hussein Obama might not have been born!

William's soundtracks for Star Wars and Jaws are probably the most iconic and so many more.
Moricone for the Good The bad and the ugly and Once upon a time in the west.
Kuberick's choices for The Shining made this one of my favorites also.
All these movies would be so much less without these soundtracks.
