Sinfonia - from Cantata BWV156

After listening to Eric's performance in the last community challenge, I really wanted to play this piece myself. It is a really beautiful piece, but there were a few stretches that were quite challenging to my small hands. It was hard to keep stretching my hands and the legato at the same time. 🖖

  • That sounds wonderful, Wai! Great sound and everything was very smooth and legato. I think that transcription in G major works nicely.

Eric Phillips Thank you for introducing this beautiful piece of music to the community, you are always an inspiration to us. I found that most of Bradford Werner's transcriptions are well thought out. They sound great, playable, and still maintain the authenticity of the original music, really a great place to find music to play.👍

    • Wai I couldn't agree more. Also, please know that you are an inspiration to me as well. Your playing is exceptional. It seems to me that you stick to pieces that you can play at a very high level, and I really agree with that approach.

  • Sounds great. Great control and tone. It looks like you are playing a Cordoba C10?
