The second A section of "Georgia."
Transcribing this recording made me appreciate how much easier some of this is nowadays. I remember trying to do the same thing by slowing down records or a tape deck and then having to transpose the notes to the correct pitch. And all the back and forth would wreck the album or tape. Now, I have a free app that can cut something to 1/4 speed and loop it in pitch.

Hand - Elegy for a King (Mar 11)
Here is today's update of this piece. The biggest difference is that I am playing it from memory. I also found what I think is a nice fingering improvement through the use of a hinge barre (it is around 1:19). I didn't execute it perfectly in this video, but when done right, it really helps to keep the melody legato.

Hi, folks! In this first week I was reading and remembering a piece I studied in 1986, I guess. It's Scherzino, from Abel Carlevaro, and I like it very much.
