WEEK THREE Updates: Main Thread - Where the magic triumphs!
Hellooo, everyone, and welcome to WEEK THREE - the final Main Thread for this challenge! 
Why is this thread necessary?
Because the Week 1 and Week 2 threads are now both officially monstrously long 
And navigating them can get tricky with the lack of multiple page display.
But Mircea - I hear you say - can we still post in the old thread?
Yes, of course! Feel free to reply to others in the old thread to your heart's content. Just make sure you post any new updates (whether text or video) in this thread instead.

- One thing you found easy: The polyphony between bass and treble flowed very naturally, I had an easy time playing each line like it belonged to its own voice.
- One thing you found difficult: I had a hard time creating enough variety throughout the repeated measures.

Study 17: It is not difficult, and it is the kind of piece that suits me, very musical, and beautiful. However, the difficult part is to aim perfection, giving different colours to the melody when it repeats in the various parts, add different volumes. I need more time for this, but in 3 days I achieved this, although I played better when the video was not recording!!!

- One thing you found easy: Sightreading is ok
- One thing you found difficult: bar 09-12 it` s impossible to hold the whole chord with my Sausagefingers - they do not fit at the same time on the fretboard

This is the point I do not try to bring the piece to the "End-practice-Version" ... time till February 19th is short. This is a practice-recording... the piece may take some more days till it rings in the suggested tempo ..I want to play and get to know the other pieces too ...

Olli Ha! Olli I have the opposite problem as you, my hands are small and weak and it's impossible for me to make some of the stretches from Sor's smaller guitar time period on the modernized guitars. I think I need a Sor sized guitar.

David Chidsey Dear David, i exactly understand what you are saying. But I think, smaller hands are a less a problem than bigger hands. There are so many female Asian players ( Xue fei, Kim etc. for Example..... they are very beautiful in looks and playing, but they are very small and tiny. The guitars are almost bigger than the players are - and it works fantastic.
A 66,4cm with 54mm saddle fits perfect to my hands.
Here it is standard measurement and this is very closely.
Have you ever tried to play on a shorter, 64er guitar ?

Olli I know exactly what you mean I immediately think of Stephanie Jones who I’m infatuated with currently her playing sound and videos. Unfortunately the rest of me is big and chunky it’s just my hands that are relatively small lol so I can’t pull off what she does. Cest la vie! I do have a smaller feeling cordoba guitar and a Yamaha silent guitar that are much easier for my fingers but I really want to get better with the Turkowiak because the sound is so “true” if that makes sense. I definitely have to change strings which will help with the squeaks. I’ve heard John Williams uses a certain kind of daddario for this purpose

Ok I FINALLY got another recording done today. Thank you to this community for being so kind and supportive and to joosje for the motivation to keep trying and Blaise Laflamme for the technical support.
Number 24. Not too difficult to read although it's a longer piece (worthy of a concert program IMO) and there are a few tricky jazz finger stretches toward the end that my small pinky can't quite get to not buzz. I just recorded it with the iPhone but I did edit a little in iMovie which I hope improved the sound at least a little. It's uploading to YouTube now so will be live in a few minutes

David Chidsey bravo! I liked it a lot! The melody shines well over the arpeggio and the sound of that melody is beautiful! It is a long piece, good work! I need one more to complete the challenge ...

David Chidsey Well done! looks like you found your way to finally record yourself again! For the pinky in this situation I found it easier to extend it and move my other fingers vertically while moving my arm a little bit to the left.
