Hand - Elegy for a King (Mar 26)
This is the main piece I wanted to work on during this challenge, and I haven't stopped, so I thought I'd post an update. I honestly don't know if it is any better than the last one I posted (maybe it's worse).

It took me some time but finnally made a video with the entire piece. Here is my take one on Choros No 1 by Villa-Lobos. I hope I can post a new video before the challenge ends since there are a lot of things to improve, but I am quite happy to be able to play a piece that is more advaced than my current guitar level!

Bruno Calixto Way to go Bruno! It looks like you're playing the entire piece from memory. Is that the case? If so, that in itself is quite a feat! Congratulations. It's sounding really good - and really fun!

Okay, now for the real reason I brought you all here!
Seriously, though, this was my original intention for this challenge - to play some original pieces by my college professor/teacher/maestro James (Jim) McGuire - an Irishman living in Minnesota (USA). He published a set of 25 Miniatures - aptly named Twenty Five Miniatures - in 2007.
This is the first one - simply named 1. It is marked Lento. The fastest my metronome lets me go at "lento" is 45 bpm, which is fine by me for this piece, as there are some very intricate harmonies and chord changes I've never experienced before!
There is one little obvious clam at the end, but I had played it correctly the first two times, so it's all good for a first take. This one needs some polishing - especially in mm 10-12. Holy cow!

Steve Pederson Wow! I love this SO much, Steve! Great composition, and it seems like a great study in block chords. It reminds me a bit of Brouwer's Estudio Sencillo #2. Thanks for including the score - I will be trying this myself. I assume you have a book with all 25?
