How to Play Legato (May 6th) Questions / Suggestions
Hi everyone! Have you ever been told to play a phrase more legato and been left wondering *exactly* how to achieve this? I mean specifically... How can fingerings help connect notes? How should I deal with string changes in a melody? What is the role of guide-fingers and portamentos and how should I use them?
We'll be talking about all this and more through various examples to demonstrate the detailed practical applications of that sought after ideal: to play more legato.
See you soon!

In this livestream, Emmanuel Sowicz will present some specific technical ideas that can help you achieve a more legato style of playing. The event will include wide-ranging examples from Sor to Assad.
