80's Shredder here, my biggest problem in terms of legato is the ability to connect melody lines that are part of position shifting chord shapes. Other than the obvious guide fingers and hinge barres, what advice can you offer on improving this weakness. (Example: in Suite Castellana the first barre chord after the modulation in Fandanguillo)
