Hi Barney.
Here is a video of a review of that guitar lift.

I got one a few months ago. Best guitar support I have seen in 63 years of playing. More stable, and it seems to make the guitar sound better because the human body is isolate from the back of the guitar. I got the strap also, but I did not find any improvement from the strap, so I just use the Le Support as is.

When I bought it, there was only one size. I have used over the years just my knee (terrible), the cushion (better but wobbly), Ergo play (better yet, but the suction cups destroyed the French polish on my Velasquez, and now Le Support. I noticed that many students at ASU also use Le Support, and after watching the video I decided to try it, and love it.

Hi Barney,
I was very curious about this product. Since I had some scrap of plexiglass in the garage, I wanted to test it out first by building a similar stand. I only bought some standard suction cups and secured them with wire (see image attached in the link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1z_g2FuGa5CVUY4WEOk8ZYCWn9hGuNqpQ/view?usp=sharing).
I have to say, it's very very convenient! The Viloteau stand also has the plus option of using a strap to keep the guitar perfectly still without using your hands, giving you even more precise control over your guitar. I think I'll buy the original one in the future.Cheers,
Tommy
