WEEK TWO Updates: Main Thread - Where the magic continues!
Alright, welcome to WEEK TWO of the Main Thread for this challenge! 
Why is this thread necessary?
Well, with the initial main thread turning into a 500-post behemoth (
), it became hard to navigate.
This comes at the very end of Week 2. Therefore, very soon, I'll be making a different thread for Week 3! We're almost there, folks, just two more days to go until Week 3! 
But Mircea - I hear you say - can we still post in the old thread?
Yes, of course! Feel free to reply to others in the old thread to your heart's content. Just make sure you post any new updates (whether text or video) in this thread instead.

No problem at all! Just tag me (@Mircea) and I'll move your post These admin powers I got here are actually pretty cool! It turns out I can move individual replies between threads.

- Etude you worked on: No. 1
- One thing you found easy: The polyphony between bass and treble flowed very naturally, I had an easy time playing each line like it belonged to its own voice.
- One thing you found difficult: I had a hard time creating enough variety throughout the repeated measures.

Hers's my recording of no 13. Recorded in my entrance hall thought it might sound better :-) . I messed up the last few bars and then messed up either there or somewhere else every other attempt so I then re recorded just the last 8 bars and spliced the audio (not the video) together so there is a join in there. It was mainly easy but just the middle section is a bit tricky alternating the thumb between the fifth and the third string
I've also been looking at number 18 this morning which seems a nice piece and quite straightforward. It's in the Frederick Noad Classical Guitar book so I sight read it from there using his fingerings.

- Etude you worked on: Fernando Sor Op.35 No.04
- One thing you found easy: Sightreading
- One thing you found difficult: not to stop Melodie notes while playing the bassline, let the bassnotes ring long enough, fast position change in bar 31-32 (I-III-I), not to let some notes ring too long (example beat 5 "f" to "g"), changing position in bar 15 (played "c" on G-String, otherwise it is much too hard to play)

What was easy: It sounds good at a slow tempo, which I always appreciate!
What was difficult: Some of the left hand is tricky to keep legato.

- One thing you found easy: Sight reading
- One thing you found difficult: I went back to this study after watching Emmanuel Sowicz's lesson which I found absolutely fascinating. At the moment I'm not satisfied I can recreate some of the subtle ways in which Emmanuel plays the phrasing and articulation. It's certainly given me a lot to think about and not just for this study!

A nice piece with nice melody and accompaniment, with a piano like texture.
I think, there are different RH fingerings possible with same/similar quality. - One thing I found easy: Sightreading
- One thing I found difficult: Focusing on the dialogue between two voices that needs to be played clearly for distinguishing the voices. Also the smoothness and legato of lines in voices is not that easy.
