WEEK TWO Updates: Main Thread - Where the magic continues!
Alright, welcome to WEEK TWO of the Main Thread for this challenge! 
Why is this thread necessary?
Well, with the initial main thread turning into a 500-post behemoth (
), it became hard to navigate.
This comes at the very end of Week 2. Therefore, very soon, I'll be making a different thread for Week 3! We're almost there, folks, just two more days to go until Week 3! 
But Mircea - I hear you say - can we still post in the old thread?
Yes, of course! Feel free to reply to others in the old thread to your heart's content. Just make sure you post any new updates (whether text or video) in this thread instead.

- One thing you found easy: The polyphony between bass and treble flowed very naturally, I had an easy time playing each line like it belonged to its own voice.
- One thing you found difficult: I had a hard time creating enough variety throughout the repeated measures.

- One thing I found easy: Sight-reading the piece.
- One thing you found difficult: It took some time to make it as legato as I wanted and still try to play with feeling. I think m. 15 was a pain in the ...
- I like the piece and should like to record it again with a few edits. I don't know why on this take I slid my 2nd and 3rd fingers in m. 31 instead of just the 1st finger. I hate squeaks and string noise. Momentary lack of focus. But I liked this take overall so there you have it!

Hello everyone.
Number 10: easy to read. The most difficult thing was fingering the right hand in some of the arpeggios.
Number 11: I think good phrasing was challenching in this one.
Number 12: easy in general, but I had to use lots of guide fingers in the left hand in order to play legato.
Number 13: I think this one is more difficult than it seems. If we want those half notes in the bass to have any meaning, we must go quite fast and "hide"some of the Alberti basses in 3rd and 4th strings.

Oh me oh my! There are so many great performances from all of you. It’s impossible to keep up with the thread. I get lost in it sometimes scrolling through. I almost wish there were daily threads so it would be easier to manage! Bravo everyone

Also when you use the popup at the top-right to access latest comments, if they are hidden by the feed you can't easily find them across posts until you open up everything!

Blaise Laflamme exactly! The thread jumps around on me and then I have no idea where I was. I was listening to someone’s recording and when I clicked back to make a comment I was completely somewhere else in the thread and couldn’t find my way back! LOL - funny but frustrating

I read studies 13, 14 and 15 yesterday. Will get some more recordings this weekend
14 was the easiest for me. It fits under the fingers nicely and was easy to read
in 13 the chord in measure 3 can be played keeping the 3rd finger on c un “scrunching” the 2nd finger to the f. Difficult but can help legato
in 14 be careful to maintain the note values when the counterpoint kicks in in the B sectionin 15 it’s all double stops in 3rds or 6ths which is difficult for me to make sound interested. I tend to focus too much on individual notes rather than the phrasing

This is the 3rd time I write my 3day update. I loose the text when my internet fails .
I worked 3 lessons, for 2 days now , and it’s fascinating work. These pieces are all so beautiful. Difficult choice.
Nos 12, 19, 24.
No 12, scordatura (6) to F (watch out the B flat 5th fret!)
Easy: quietly flowing melody in 6ths, and 6/8.
difficult, keep the two upper voices equal all through the piece. It’s like a duet for 2 clarinets. R hand fingering i-m, i-a,, should sound equally smooth.no 19 like a brass ensemble with drums, imagine music approaching and then moving away
easy, many repeated notes and chords. Not so fast.
difficult the fingering Sor gave for the triplets is not so convenient at first sight. pmi p on G (1) and pip i on C (5) Need some practice to get thumb and fingers in place in time, but I decided to keep his fingering. The intro and coda of 4 note chords must be smooth, clear and even in sound (no broken chords etc) , I experiment with cresc. & decresc.

The fastest movement of this collection of style pieces. Written in 4/4, but almost feels like 2/2. Not sure how to decide on ideal tempo. Reminds me of nr 13, but should be definitely faster.
easy:, chord progression in e minor. Melody line on (1) (2), melody note always with finger a. Arpeggio form is basic, but then with a few variations,
difficult: a few tricky stretches (big for my hands, but doable with some practice), in m 29-32 and. 44-47. And then the length of the piece: keep going, don’t get stressed, keep the arpeggio light and even, also when string crossing, and keep the melody smooth, accentuated, but not too much force , not too sharp, not too much vibrato .
haven’t decided yet which one to record and post to the forum by the end of this week. First practice.
