Bryan Burns "Classical Guitar Compendium" & "The Guidonian Guitar"

If anyone has used either of these texts, I would be interested in finding out more about their content. How does the Compendium differ from other technique texts? Have you tried the Guidonian solfeggio methods? Thank you.
