FINAL CONGRATULATIONS and Watch Party Announcement!
Helloooo everyone, and allow me to begin by extending a huge, heartfelt congratulations to everybody who has made it to the end of our first-ever community practice challenge!
I'm so proud of all of you who've taken part, and honestly so humbled by your response! When we launched this, we didn't know if anybody would join - and here we are, 13 days later, at over 300 replies on the main daily updates thread.
Today was the final day (it's still Friday, December 18th, here in California), but as you well know, this does not mean that the practice should stop more importantly, you are free to continue to use this thread to post updates. If you post any more challenge updates until about 1 hour before our watch party, I will try to update the statistics to reflect this.
After that, feel free to continue posting updates in these threads - the "official" practice challenge will have ended, but there is no reason why you or other community members shouldn't use this place as a way to keep track of your progress on the Landslög.

- 2 PM Eastern Time (New York)
- 7 PM GMT (London)
- 8 PM CET (Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Poland, etc.)
- 10 PM (Moscow)

There will be a couple of surprises for all of you, so please do come join us live if your schedule allows it!
Announcement no. 2: awards!
As participants in the first-ever tonebase community practice challenge, all of you will get some cool forum awards!
These are supposed to be fun; not in any way to be taken as a competition of any sort, but as a playful way to give something back to all of you who have dedicated your time and energy to sharing your work with fellow community members!
Apart from the personal recognition shoutout and surprise forum award that I will be giving to all of you active participants, here are some of the other awards we will be "giving out" during the watch party:
- Most individual movements studied
- Most videos recorded
- Most consistent updates
In addition, we will also be giving out some fun "forum-wide" awards, including:
- Top forum contributors
- Most likes received
- Most likes given
Join me, composer Gulli Björnsson, tonebase head of guitar content Erin Young, and fellow tonebase co-host Martin Zimny tomorrow for our watch party to hear the official announcements! I'm very excited about everything!
I hope to see you all there, Henrique , Martha Kreipke , martin , Roni Glaser , Roddy , Derek , Jaime , Giuseppe Gasparini , David Chidsey , Michael , Vincent , Lawrence , David , Marek Tabisz , Ron , Dario Caruso , Dennis Greensmith , Emma , Vilio Celli , André Nardi .

Great meeting! I wish the whole Tonebase team a Merry Christmas and all the best in the New Year - let's meet in the real world in (I hope better) 2021! Especially warm wishes are passed on to Mircea - I visited the East Coast of the USA - I haven't reached you yet, but I take the promise of cookies seriously
