  • Hi Martin, You mentioned the Luise Walker training exercises (Da tagliche Training) published by Hladky.  I got a copy from Scribd.  Lots of material inside.  In your opinion, which exercises in this book would be most beneficial  ( and time efficient )for me?

    Thanks,

    Barney

Barney oh, definitely the chord exercise, that'll solve so many issues! I wouldn't bother too much with the scales as they are quite limited in their usability. I have worked on cross trills with some of the scales in thirds and played the barree exercise to strengthen my left hand for a while!

    • Martin Just to confirm the barree exercise: do you mean Page 29: (4) and (5a) and (5b)?

Barney this looks like a good one, but I meant p.24, ex. 7!

    • Martin Thanks for clarifying this.  I  think I'll use the one you like, since it works for you.  Practice time is limited, so your advice helps a lot!!! I always appreciate it!!
