Hello everyone, my fellow tonebase host Martin Zimny will be back with another live lesson on Nov 16th!

We are going to be using this thread to gather suggestions about things he might want to touch on, and offer you a chance to ask him your own questions!
- What questions do you have for Martin?
- What are the hardest passages for you? Any particular areas you would like him to focus on?

I find the main technical difficulty in this study is maintaining a good legato in the melody, particularly in those places where the left hand has to shift position (i.e. throughout the last eight measures of the second section). The main musical difficulty, for me, is to bring out the 'long' melodic phrases. I tend to over-accent the first beat of EVERY measure, which results in a fragmentation of the melody. I am aware of the problem, but the technical demands, modest though they may be, are sufficient to prevent me from really focusing my attention on the music. Maybe I just need to practise more. (Sigh ...)
