This will be an interactive Livestream, so let me attach all the info needed for this exciting new tonebase LIVE format!
What do I need?
- We are going to use ZOOM for the interactive part of Livestream (the same piece of software that we have been using for the Virtual Hangouts). While it is not necessary to download the software, I would recommend it as it runs more stable as the browser version. In order to have the best audio quality, you can activate the option to
- No.8. Preserve Original Sound, here you find the documentation on how to activate that.
- It's best to prepare for that lesson to get the most out of it in the interactive part! So listen to some of our fantastic release on
How does this take place?
- Simply watch the Livestream at the time indicated in the Live Calender!
- At the end of the approx. 25-35min Livestream, I will share a ZOOM Link in the Chat. Click on that link, it will take you to our ZOOM Cohort Based Course
- In the Zoom Call, we will get into greater depth about challenging passages of that piece, we can discuss certain fingering possibilities TOGETHER and YOU can get a full masterclass experience if you decide to take part with audio and video (not necessarily needed, more on that below)!
As always, these interactive classes with our hosts are not going to be recorded!

Hi Martin ! I would like to participate also! the time is perfect for me. What do you prefer? I am working Granada, Recuerdos of course (never tired of learning tremolo) and the study of Sor N.6 OP6. I need more relaxation to play... with chords and arpegios (tremolo inklusive). What shall we do Martin?

Hi Martin,
Today, both Emma and Nora encouraged me to join in for a spot this Friday. To be honest the timing is very tight for me, and I didn’t feel quite ready. But the ladies made me change my mind and be more courageous and determined.
Oh well, just now checking the thread, I noticed that Don asked for a slot and he was there before me, so I’ll try to get ready for next occasion. I will try to follow the zoom session, for there are some very nice pieces, and your advice and insights will be of interest for me.
my biggest problem, lately, is that I’m easily distracted by all these fantastic pieces, coming by in the challenges and the live masterclasses. I find it difficult to concentrate on the pieces that matter most to me. Making my own, personal choices and keeping focus, that’s my objective for now.

Emma Loved your playing of Carcassi etude No. 7 yesterday and found a little lecture on the etude by Ms. Gohar Vardanyan which I thought you may find useful - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=72wcQe7J2vM
Martin thank you for a very insightful interactive masterclass. I am trying to incoporate your feedback for Jeux interdits though the brain is fighting the intent to enable thumb planting after playing it with a tirando and not apoyando.
Please have more of these in this timezone and on a weekend, if possible, so that we may be able to stay beyond our sessions and see every performance and feedback. Please accept my gratitude for all your super valuable feedback.
