Here is my next recording with few changes from previous recordings:
1- This time I took only one recording only after about 10 min warming up practice. Previously I could make 10 + recordings until I felt satisfied. I feel it represents my real practice time but feel very stressful.
2- I am getting used to the Alaska picks but still miss or add a few strings. I guess this will improve over time.
3- I am trying to work on getting a better tone when plucking chords.
4- I was able to increase the tempo by 10 bpm in the last week.
This is probably my last recording for this challenge but I will keep working on this piece and bring it back in a future challenge.

Andre Bernier it’s so inspiring to hear your progress from week to week, Andre. It’s definitely beginning to flow with a more legato sound and that will stay with you in this kind of music, when you start working on a new piece.

Andre Bernier your progression with this piece is great, well done......do you prefer these Alaska picks instead nails??? I used then a couple of times , with steel strings , but with nylon ones y have better control with my nails .....let us know your feedback

Andre Bernier Thank you for your comment. Maybe I caught a lull between flights. I live nowhere near an airport but the skies locally seemed very busy when I was ready to record.

Jack Stewart Thank you for your comment. Smoothness and legato is the great challenge on the guitar. We try to be legato on an instrument that is inherently rather non-legato.

Ron Excellent, Ron! Nice flowing melodies and balance. I enjoyed both performances and look forward to more recordings from you. I also am usually reluctant to post for the same reason as you--tension/stage fright when recording. I realized that these performances are never as good as when totally relaxed while not recording; so i just submit them with mistakes anyway. Our Tonebase community is very supportive and forgiving.

Barney Ron very true. Recording is unforgiving and creates stress. On the other hand, a little stress can be good also, to be more aware, concentrated and perform even better. When you listen back, just observe what is as you intended or what could be better. Isn’t that a great possibility to have at hand? Anyway, as said before, I enjoyed your submission a lot, Ron.

Ron Well done Ron, great job on both of them! You're right about recording, it can be stressful and hard to do a good take. On my side I usually play the work 2 or 3 times in my recording session and take the best one.
