  • It looks like some of us were interested by #16... then here's my own version... As a personal choice I opted to use right hand preparation to execute the written accompaniment articulation and to not make the bar repetition for the second section. 😅

    • joosje Thank you Joosje, a bit different than what's out there but while I was working on it I got hooked by the accompaniment articulation! 😵

    • Neil Macmillan Thank you Neil, it looks like my second camera had bad framing (I figured out after the recording session) then it was hard to use in most case, at least it worked out when I was playing higher on the neck.

Blaise Laflamme Beautiful interpretation , Blaise!  Using  right hand preparation to execute the  accompaniment articulation serves to bring out the melody lines more effectively.  I like it!

Blaise Laflamme Beautiful, Blaise. This is such an expressive etude with a very interesting harmonic structure which you did a wonderful job of bringing out.

  • Very nice playing Blaise and your articulations are great.  This is one of my favorites that puts me in the zone as soon as the first measure!

    • Rick Lord Thank you Rick, it's definitely one of the more interesting musically. I haven't yet settled on a more definitive way of playing it, I'm still exploring all its avenues but I wanted to make a version for the challenge. 😅

Carlo Martins Nicely done Carlo!  Wondering if, as you vary the tone color, it might sound more beautiful to sometimes play over the sound hole for a warmer tone.  The slurs look pretty clean.  Are you snapping off many of them (like rest strokes) to achieve more clarity?
