What Child Is This? (arr. Niedt) First Take
Here is an arrangement I found by a guitarist named Douglas Niedt. The music was free on his website (https://douglasniedt.com) and I have also attached it to this post.
It's in D minor and has some nice harmonic variety in it. I'll continue working on this one for a little bit, but here is a first read-through.

I had a busy week last week so didn't find time to post. I'm still working on La Nit de Nadal by Llobet. I have worked my way through it but there are some tricky bits. I'll try to post a video later in the week. My main task though is working on a duet video which is driving me crazy. It's nearly there now. I originally intended to upload it to the general forum as a Christmas card to you all but the Christmas challenge forum is the ideal place so watch this space.
I've also been looking at some Christmas carols arranged by one of my old guitar teachers. I'll try to perfect them for the end of the week but here are a couple of works in progress - The First Nowell and The Holly and the Ivy

Eric Phillips Thanks you very much Eric. We recorded separately, Gokce is 2000 miles away in Turkey so I recorded the lower part and sent it to Gokce. She then recorded her part and did the audio editing. Then I put the video together. It's been a few weeks of hard work - I think I recorded my part in October and then Gokce sent her part and the audio back sometime in November. I nearly tore my hair out doing it as I'm a bit of a novice on Da Vinci Resolve. I was originally planning to put it in the general forum but when the Christmas Challenge came up I thought it would be great to put it in here
