i ran out of time. I didm practice the 16 notes but every time I make a mistake I had to start over. I was going to do a separate video but the time is gone. I will practice this. My stage fright gets in the way.

I watched your video on H. Villa-Lobos Etude N0. 7. I am confused in that you refer to scales but I do not know which ones your playing. I believe they are measure numbers 2-6-11-12 ect. please help.

The descending scale from the opening of the Villa-Lobos Étude 7, with the ascending counterpart added, makes an appealing moveable scale pattern.
This version starts at B with a G to A lead in.-

The main challenge with the Villa-Lobos Étude 1 is not so much the arpeggio itself (the same RH pattern is used throughout) but the chord changes, especially the E minor to B7/F# change.
I'm working with a Latin inspired groove to practise these changes. I'll try to get the arpeggio working smoothly before the TWI ends.

Hi all, just posted the Villa-Lobos exercise inside the TWI deadline.
I agree with Neil Macmillan that the chord changes make the arpeggios much more difficult.
Hope the right hand is more steady with my A finger anchored on the top E string SANEL REDŽIĆ

I typed up the exercises for myself to have them as reference. Hopefully I've not made too many errors, but if not, perhaps this might be helpful to others in my group in this great TWI with Sanel. It's taking me longer to get enough mastery to be able to record without stopping, but I will keep at it! Thank you Sanel and fellow group members for making this another great intensive.

One suggestion: the bass notes in the Carlevaro Arpeggios should each be an 1/8 note followed by an 1/8 rest, each marked w/ a 'p' . That would remind us to damp the note w/ our thumb when we play the 'I' finger. (Reads a lot more confusing than it was in my head. Or maybe I've just become accustomed to the confusion in my head.

Amazing David ! Thank you for putting it all this way! I am really happy that you liked the way I did this TWI. It is only one little part of my approach to the right hand and there is left hand as well :D . In my opinion those exercises and this approach are the key of having a good technique and good sound on guitar, which every professional or hobby guitarists should take into consideration.
