Denis Azabagic: Performance Anxiety and Stage Presence (Jan 5) Questions / Suggestions
Are you ready for Denis Azabagic's upcoming Performance Anxiety and Stage Presence livestream?
As mentioned in the thread for his previous livestream, this workshop will deal with a different aspect of his book on stage presence and performance anxiety.
No previous viewing of the earlier livestream is required, since this workshop will deal with different topics, namely what it means to actually do a good job on-stage: stage presence, maintaining focus, feeling confident, maintaining expressivity, etc.

We are going to be using this thread to gather suggestions about things he might want to touch on, and offer you a chance to ask him your own questions!
- What questions do you have for him?
- Any particular area you would like him to focus on?
Forum questions will be answered first!
Can you sound as good on-stage as you do at home, or even better? What does good stage presence entail? Preparing for a stressful performance is only half the battle and half the fun. Self-doubt is part of all of us and in this presentation, you will learn ways to control it, rather than eliminate it. This livestream is intended for anyone who plays an instrument at any level, whether professional or amateur.

Hi everyone!
Thank you so much to all of you who watched Denis' livestream this morning!
He's been in contact with me via email and sent the following quick questionnaire for you to complete for next time:
- Name:
- Age:
- Instrument:
- Professional musician, student or aficionado:
- How often do you perform?
- What is your next performance?
- What do you struggle the most during your performance?
If you don't manage to answer all these questions, no problem - you can still participate in his upcoming stream on January 5th. We just thought it would be a great to thing to get to know you a bit better for some context when featuring your questions in our upcoming livestream!
Feel free to reply to me in this thread or write me an email at [email protected] if you have any questions!

Hi, Denis.
In the last workshop, we talked about playing in autopilot. My to strategies for this are:
1 Visualization of the entire piece.
2 Getting to play so slowly that you can´t connect the notes by ear, so you must know every fingering by heart.
All this takes huge ammounts of time. Do you have any other ideas to share with us? THANK YOU!!
