Every day between December 6th and 19th, we are hoping to read your daily updates in this very thread right here!
Please use the following format when commenting (feel free to copy & paste!):
- Landslag you worked on:
- One thing you found easy:
- One thing you found difficult:
- (Optional): a video of you performing it!
Sample daily update:
- Landslag you worked on: Landslag no. 1: dark sand dunes with some moss
- One thing you found easy: The first bar was the hardest one for me to learn, although it looked easy enough on my first try.
- One thing you found difficult: I liked that it was a single line; it allowed me to focus on every note and it was much easier to read than most pieces I play.
Feel free to make these updates as short or long as you wish!

Most importantly, I had to independently release pressure in certain fingers in advance of others, in order to dampen a string that would have otherwise caused a shifting noise. The legato illusion was created therefore by maintaining certain notes while others were cut just a hair shorter than the rest of the chord. All in all, I had to use very advanced and difficult technique to make this seemingly easy piece work. For me exactly the same! But my guitar has relatively short sustain, so it is easier for me to cheat lightly when chords changes

- Landslag you worked on: Landslag no. 2, Littoral Mud in the Bottom of a Fjord
- One thing you found easy:a harmony that makes you want to play continuously
- One thing you found difficult: keep all notes in time and clean
- Thanks for this initiative, otherwise I would never have played them
- Grazie per questa iniziativa, diversamente non li avrei mai suonati

Landslag you worked on: Landslag 3, Rock Covered Plateau
Something you found easy: not sure this qualifies, as I only did the first 5 bars (the rest was too much for me to concentrate on with the kids in the room). But the fingerings were easy for the first 5 bars :)
Something you found hard: It took me a few attempts to be happy with my execution of the polyrythms. They were harder to execute than I thought they would be.
Overall I'm loving these pieces. I feel like I'm learning something new every day!

- Landslag you worked on: Landslag no. 3: Rock-covered plateau
- One thing you found easy: Once again, the dynamics were masterfully added in by Gulli at the exact spots where they made sense! Beautiful.
- One thing you found difficult: Since I still don't have a thumb nail (damn you, broken p!), I had to do a bit of adjustment to get a nice sound on the bass. Also, because of
lack of practicethe relatively thick ping pong a nail I just put on, I was initially getting a lot of nail noise on the top 3 strings. If I had only half an hour I could have made that work everywhere, but in the ~5 minutes I had, I made it work as best I could. I think it sort of works!
