What courses would you like to see next on tonebase Guitar?
Dear tonebuddies!
Every once in a while, we want to check in with you and ask what courses you would like to see next, or what you feel is missing on tonebase Guitar!
I would also like to update you on a few upcoming releases. Without spoiling the fun of anticipation, I hope 
From another major course with Carlos Bonell on Sightreading, Arranging, and Practicing, we'll have a fantastic lesson with Jan Depreter and the iconic Danza Espanola Nr. 5 for you. Closing out in April. we release an enigmatic repertoire with Thomas Viloteau, which revolves all around harmonics.
All that being said, is there anything you feel is missing? Are there certain courses, or artists you cannot get enough of? We are all ears when it comes to your needs and suggestions, so please feel free to share and discuss what you would like to see next on tonebase!

Here is my dreamlist. Also, Martin, thank you for your wonderful work! These pieces are all a bit on the advanced side. The Bolero should be much easier, however.
1. Burgalesa by Torroba, the Carlevaro version, with Aniello Desiderio!!!
2. Inspiracao by Garoto with Bellinati, Joao Camerero or...
3. Cancion (Petenera) with Paco Pena. I believe classical players could play this flamenco piece.
4. O Sole Mio with Vito Nicola Paradiso. His version is absolutely insane!
5. Bach Sarabande BWV 997 with Nigel North
6. Martin Fierro with Anabel Montesinos (or Fabio Zanon)
7. Caazapa (Barrios) with Anabel Montesinos, Berta Rosas. Tricky rhythms!
8. Bolero by Julian Arcas with David Jacques, Carles Trepat, Stefana Grondona
9. Girl From Ipanema with Sergio Assad or Plinio Fernandes!
I have many more, but the above ones are special to me, and I think would interest many others too!

Transcriptions for solo guitar of less-played Piazzolla pieces such as Oblivion or Chiquilin de Bachin.

Clyde martin I would concur with Clyde that it would be great for more lessons on Piazzolla, maybe have Ashley Lucero do a lesson on one Agustin Carlevaro's arrangements. He has many outstanding arrangements of Piazzolla's pieces, many of which i haved passed on to Ashley.

Hi there and thanks for asking! I'm new to Tonebase and already have so much ressources to go through!! But one thing I would love to learn about and have been struggling to find on the internet would be an introduction to baroque accompagnement applied to the guitar, with a presentation of basse continuo, typical baroque chords progression, how to play folias..

While working on the Carcassi challenge I realized I could use some help with repeats. I know some of the baroque lessons talk about ornaments but I'm not sure how to approach classical and later period music. How to vary them? When to skip them? A lesson or live stream with examples would be great. A session with Stephen Goss and Zoran Dukic would be very entertaining.

Last year we had an excellent livestream from the Koblenz Guiter Festival with Łukasz Kuropaczewski. I would love to see more of his ideas on practicing and how he moves from the slow practice technique he showed through to performance tempo.
Also I've been working on the Carlevaro left hand technique with the Gaëlle Solal lessons on Tonebase. It would be great to have her do lessons using Carlevaro's right hand exercises too. I've been trying to source the combined version of Carlevaro's Cuadernos in the UK but so far with no success.

Ron Hi Ron, you should check out the Carlevaro discussion forum on Tonebase. There is a discussion thread on Carlevaro's technique. Also, Alfredo Escande did two Tonebase live streams on Carlevaro's School of Guitar.

first of all, thanks for your work, i really enjoy Tonebase which helped me get better at playing the guitar. great content and community.
I have some suggestions on pieces i find interesting:
Dusan Bugdanovic - Mysterious habitats,
but also some other works like his Balkan miniatures (taught by Zoran Dukic?)
Some more eastern european music:
Miroslav Tadic's Rustemul and Walk Dance (Dragos Ilie?)
Romanian Folk Dances by Bartok (I've seen some arrangements for solo)
Sonatina SZ 55 by Bartok (performed by Dragos Illie)

Zoe Barnett performed three persian ballads arr. by Lily Afshar
Meditative Metamorphosis by Pedram Falsafi (maybe with Bahar Ossareh as teacher)

BTW Emmanuel Sowicz has a great lesson on the Mysterious Habitats. Manny is an excellent teacher, so his lesson is highly recommended. He also has a lesson on Sor's op. 29.17.
Bogdanovic's 6 Balkan Minaitures are really good. In keeping with your international options, his 3 African Sketches (Kannengiser) are really joyous and incorporate 'prepared' technique (a la John Cage)
Another fascinating Eastern European composer who is equally prolific is Atanas Ourkouzonov
I will also support anything by Bach.
I just listened to your posting of Dragos Ilie's recording of Bartok's Sonatina. Wow!
Anything Mateusz Kowalski does is amazing.

Whatever we can get of the Tedesco Caprichos would be amazing to see, especially since there are so many technical compromises for them to be playable (maybe Zoran Dukic has the best insight since he recorded every single one)
