Laura Snowden: Working with Living Composers and Studying with Julian Bream (Feb 10) Questions / Suggestions
Alright, check this out, everyone!
My friend Laura Snowden is going to join us on a livestream this Wednesday talking about what it was like to study with Julian Bream for a full four years (), premiere some of his commissions, and what it's like to work with composers... from her unique point of view, as both a guitarist and a composer!
This is going to be great! I truly can't wait for this livestream!

Having studied with Julian Bream for four years, acclaimed British-French guitarist and composer Laura Snowden closely worked with him on over fours hours’ worth of repertoire. These included two of his latest commissions, subsequently premiered by Laura at London’s Wigmore Hall. In this livestream, she will be discussing her experience learning from Julian and exploring the broader topic of performer-composer relationships based on her unique experience on both sides.
