How important are the livestreams for you?

I love the live streams. Great chance to ask questions and hear what others are curious about. I watch live when I can, but am working during those hours (for now) and often have to catch the replay. I also love the range of topics that tonebase provides.

I really like the livestreams. They are very helpful and explore many important themes to us guitar players. I ,however, tend to watch rather replays than the events live. 

I would not mind if these events are recorded and made available on the platform for us to watch later. I understand that not making these events available live will give y'all more flexibility scheduling the events/interviews, given it does not need to take place at a time friendly for US (EST, PST) and EMEA.

I think livestreams are really interesting and provide a lot of insight. Even if it’s not a technique or approach I use, or plan to use, it’s still valuable to see what others do and to keep an open mind. Not every artist is equally engaging, but when the magic happens it’s great. Keep them coming!
I watch in real time whenever possible and being in Europe it’s perfect for my time zone. 

I can most often not attend live streaming because I will be on job, but it's nice when I can. And I like to be able to watch a replay.

I watch almost all the livestreams; really enjoy the diverse topics and approaches. They very much enrich my own practice and thinking. That said, given my schedule I always watch them later as recorded.  Thank you and please keep it up!

I really like the livestreams.  I try to attend live whenever i can fit it in my calendar (i am in the EST zone which usually is 13:00 or 14:00).  I like the reminder emails on the same day i often do not check my calendar.  I like most of the topics.  If i miss a live session because of unavailability or because i forgot, i like the availability of the recording.  Live sessions are important because of this interaction with the invited artist.

I can understand the difficulty of scheduling events that suits and please everyone because we are at different stages of our development.  I am a curious amateur who seeks to become a "hobbyist musician" and i always finds useful information that helps in my development.

Usually, the host does an excellent job at presenting the subject and driving the discussion with the invited artist (thanks Martin).  However, Martin, this is for you: when you try to ask a question for the audience, you do not need to apologize to the invited artist and tell the artist that you already know the answer and  that you do not want to appear "stupid" for asking because you  already know the answer.  We all know that you know the answer and that you are driving the discussion. The host artist should also know!  I was not live at that event about nails,  but your question was an interesting one and did not need that futile statement which could present some people for asking questions because it could be perceived as "stupid".  

I was not live at that event.  It would have been interesting to have a demonstration and proof that the ramp method from pumping nylon is the Saint Graal for classical guitar playing.   Nobody seems to talk about the Method that Carlevaro covers in "L'école de la guitare" published in french, spanish and english. (1979) which is more involved than the simple ramp method (not saying it is bad here).

I am glad that one session on no nails is coming soon.

Livestreams are fantastic in theory. In reality, they do not work for me. Time zone difference and busy schedule/family commitments means that I can rarely make the livestreams. I tend to watch replays only. Interaction is also fantastic in theory but when you replay the livestream, it makes it very long and tedious to watch. I prefer something more 'to the point'.

Hi, of course livestreams are as vital as the recorded content. Due to time difference, I mostly watch recorded ones.

However, I wonder if the vimeo platform used is the best for tonebase as the video player is often very sluggish for both lessons and livestreams. Internet speed is an issue for me due to my location, but I have watched TB recorded livestreams on YouTube and face no buffering issues at all. Also I wonder if you could provide timestamps on some of the livestreams. I know that livestreams by are free flowing conversations that go back and forth but there's a scope for timestamps on some past recorded livestreams.

Regarding content, personally, as a beginner, I really love the masterclasses, live lessons and workshops more than the webinars. There should be more of them as they address the nitty gritty of technique and musicality and are much more interactive. Perhaps the in-house instructors of TB like yourself and Ashley Lucero or a guest could do a few of these interactive sessions in future.

Not really useful for me, due to the difference in timezones.

Martin, I seldom watch the live streams live.  However, i really appreciate them and come back to them later and sometimes more than once.  Unfortunately that leaves me out for commenting or asking questions in the moment.  
keep up the good work, I appreciate yourenthusiasm and when giving lessons in a masterclass, I finds them helpful. 
lastly, 8 enjoy your interviews with other performers, you give them enough space to allow them to articulate their points and you are helpful at expanding a point when you feel it is useful.  Interviewing is a real skill and I think you have been doing a very good job.
