How important are the livestreams for you?

Hi, livestreams are great. They offer direct questions to the artists. I do however tend to watch the replays.

The livestreams are extremely important, as they provide the opportunity to interact and ask relevant questions to concert artists, as well as receive high level training from some  professionals without having actual physical access.  It's also fun and rewarding to share these experience live with the other community members.

Whenever possible, I tend to watch live;  otherwise I watch later on replay.

Please keep inviting artists who can share their experience and  wisdom with us as they guide us in the right direction to grow as technically and musically proficient guitarists.  Thanks!

For me, they are not. But, that's because of the time difference. They are very good to watch later, and if I could make the times, they would be valuable. 

Quality live streams are very important. I have seen a lot of them live and also replays. I just went back yesterday and was rewatching Marco Tomayo shifting exercises from a live stream to help with a technique problem I was experiencing,  they provide a lot of good information.

It is the most valuable asset of the platform to me. I tune in to as many livestreams as I can but will also watch them later if I can't. I like be able to go back and watch other livestreams prior to me joining tonebase. The conversational format is excellent. It's the aspect I use most regularly and keeps me engaged in the platform.

I really like the live events. Being retired, the timing for me  (2:00 PM) is excellent. 

I try to watch them live but If I can't I always watch them later.

I also like being able to watch past events before I joined Tonebase.

I like very much the technical aspect of some of the live stream but I enjoy even more to learn more about these artist.

Martin,  live streams are great, I tend to watch replies though due to schedule conflicts.  

I would have to say that I find that, for the most part, I benefit from the live streams.  I will often find something interesting and useful for my development as a classical guitarist.  So, based on that, they are important to me.

As for when I view them, I usually try to view them live.  Most of them occur at 2 pm my time which is convenient time for me to watch.  I also enjoy the chat that often occurs with the live stream as it creates community and provides other useful information.  When that is not possible to watch live, I will watch the replay.  Also I like that there is an archive of past live streams when I am interested in a topic that hasn't recently been covered.

My only annoyance with the live stream is that they are often late in starting.  Not only is it not professional to not start on time, but when I am not getting anything a few minutes after the start time I don't know if the issue is at the presenter's end or at my end.  If it's my end, then I am missing some of the live stream which is annoying and stressful.  Other sites that I use that use video calls do not seem to have this issue.

I really like the livestreams but almost always watch them later. I rarely have a question that isn't covered plus the 2x setting is great to make sure I catch everything in a shorter amount of time. To me, they seem to stay on track more so than the Zoom sessions which can often get sidetracked so I rarely attend or watch those. 

I find live streams interesting and relevant. I can always glean some new information from them. As stated in other posts, I watch mostly replays which allows me to fast forward through the non-relevant parts and watch at a time convenient to me. One of the most annoying parts of watching zooms is the irrelevant questions asked by viewers. Questions are good and beneficial for sure and provide additional insights to specific problems,  but I feel sometimes the questions need to be vetted in a way to stay relevant to the topic at hand or left to the very end of the stream as a Q&A.  Often times the conversation may be knee deep in technique or process and someone ultimately asks "what kind of strings do you use?" or some other totally  irrelevant question to the topic at hand, this is a total buzz kill in the age of short attention spans,  

It was one of the reason I sign up Tonebase for. I love those earlier live streams and masterclasses like those with Rene. They were interactive and I learn so much from them. But I’ve not been able to join much due to the time zone difference. But even so I’ll watch the replay if it is a topic I’m interested with a well prepared guest. 

I tend not to join live streams on topics such how to practice or those cross-platform live streams. 

I hope Tonebase does more interactive live steams for an Asia friendlier timezone.  

I watch them as recordings and enjoy the content. But it’s inconvenient for me to watch them live. And anyway, I’m currently living in the Middle East, so the time zone is an issue. 

I think they are great. But I would like them to be more focus. The discussion between the player and the moderator sometimes go far away from the topic in question. Perhaps it would be more useful if just leave the player to explain everything and not being a dialog between the presenter and the player. 

However, I enjoy them and every time that I can watch them I do it. Sometimes my schedule does not allow me to do it and I try to play later the video. But it freezes sometimes.

 I really don't join in cause I fine they are way above my head.  I am still stuck on transiting from a beginner to next level.
