New Repertoire
Hey everyone,
I'm looking for new, interesting, fascinating, really good, well-composed, wonderful repertoire for the guitar.
Oooh dear, those are some high expectations . But basically I'd like to find repertoire that's a bit further removed from the Classical/Romantic (or jazz) style repertoire that I see so much of for the guitar, something that uses the guitar in interesting ways. I'd like to find it both for playing and for studying from a composition point of view. Both shorter, miniature pieces longer, more substantial pieces.
Any suggestions??

Probably not what you have in mind, but there's a lot of innovation in the 'fingerstyle' guitar world. It's worth checking out if you're not already familiar with it. (Not everything would work well on nylon strings, but some of the ideas might be adaptable.) To give a few random examples:

Hi all, sorry to do this, bit i can't figure out how to create a post in tonebase, and figured that this was the most relevant string to what I'm looking for:. I'm looking for some nice classical guitar arrangements (beginner/low intermediate) for Christmas songs. With COVID this year, I'd like to play a little zoom concert for my immediate family, so want to start practicing now. Thanks in advance if anyone has any ideas!
