  • thats the way it is  now, sorry, some tones are so ugly, I did not expect the new strings to be sooo soft. Have to keep on working on changes, chords, closed chords, flageolett...not ready but under construction...but I am in love with that peace

Stefanie Mosburger-Dalz Thanks for sharing your interpretation of Preludio Saudade in the live concert!

    • Robert thank you! , I want to ask you, was the sound ok, could the soft tones be differentiated? I used the technology for the first time and have no clue about the quality?

    • Robert I enjoyed your turn too!. I could sometimes not hear clearly, because of some delays but I dont know the reason, my hardware, the internet or something else, with you it was ok but the chrismassong f.e. I could not really hear in the end of the concert.

    • Stefanie Mosburger-Dalz  you did great Steffi, and the sound was actually very good. You know, differentiation of the tones is  not easy to hear with this kind of WiFi connections, but your tone was clear and the harmonies secure. You kept the pulse very well. Great contribution to a super nice concert.

    • joosje oh wow! Thank you so much! I wanted to know if the acustic was alright, because I could not proof the outcome;-) we never can control everything, but you heard those wonderful violins and the acoustic did not work, there must be a way to solve that problem, because the mixing up of the instruments and learning from each other is such a fine thing. I loved to hear all those musiclovers.

Stefanie Mosburger-Dalz Your sound was very good. The song at the end was hard to follow, I had so many interruptions and delays etc. And in addition the sound was quite "thin" then, maybe due to perspective/angle of the recording smartphone (?) (or was there an extra mic?).

  • Hello,

This is my first post on the community forum!!

I missed the first week but I was inspired by Robert to have a look at Un Dia de Noviembre - it's a piece that has come to my attention a few times but i've never had a proper go at it..   So I'm gonna have a go now!

This is where i'm up to so far..   still some way to go, especially trying to get into the B section lol

    • Andrew Gray I love that peace, it is not so easy it looks like and you have just these  few bars to learn separate and then connect, it already sounds fine

Andrew Gray This was great, Andrew. Very expressive and your tone is very good. The 'B' section looks very challenging with those large stretches. I look forward to your next video and welcome to the community forum.

    • Andrew Gray very nice Andrew. The B part takes some more work, but your intensity and tone are very promising. Looking forward to witnessing your progress….

joosje Maybe the wrong place here, Joosje, but I want to thank you for your very nice performance of your two pieces at the beginning of the live concert yesterday. I enjoyed your playing very much. And it motivated me to fetch the Hubert Käppel's transcriptions of Kellner pieces and to practice some of them again.

    • Robert thank you. It was really my pleasure to introduce those pieces to a more diverse audience than guitarists only… I’m also diving a bit into the ones in D major and d minor. They are incredibly beautiful but quite challenging. What do you think about my suggestion to share a practice forum for these? Although it’s something fragile to share with the community….
