We proudly present the very first tonebase Community Concert for GUITAR, PIANO AND VIOLIN! 🎉🥳🚀 This time, the stage is open for ALL tonebase members! In this interactive Livestream, we want to organize a virtual get-together where you can perform pieces for each other that you have been working on!

Answer via a reply to this thread in order to apply for a spot with the piece and its approx. duration. The choice of repertoire is totally up to you! Let us know!

If there are too many sign-ups for this concert, we will do a raffle or a poll!

(4 spots for guitar, 4 spots for piano, 4 spots for violin, so hurry up!)

What do I need?

We are going to use ZOOM (←click to download) for the tonebase Community Concert. In order to have the best audio quality, you can activate the option to Preserve Original Sound, here you find the documentation on how to activate that. It's best to use headphones with when the Original Audio Option is enabled.

  joosje Oh, yes, I am also in the process of deciding. Originally, I thought about playing La Catedral (Preludio), but for avoiding having the same piece multiple times (see other thread) I will probably switch to Brouwer's "Un Dia..." and/or Charlton's "... Black Cockatoo..." and/or Moreno-Torroba's "Montemayor" (or a different Castle of Spain) and/or Ponce's "Balletto" and/or sth composed by Villa-Lobos and/or... ... ... 😀

I also intend to play on the 29th, and on the 17th if there are remaining slots (but I'll let the opportunity to other first since there are only 4!). As for music I'm not settled, I'll see what sounds best under my fingers at that time but I'll post about what I'm reading at the moment that is not major work with long term goals.

  martin An unforeseen event has arisen and unfortunately I will not be available on Saturday, then I'll postpone my participation for the next one on the 29th. Since we already have more than 4 participants, and Joosje wants to perform two pieces, it won't hurt too much 😅. I'll post a video update next week!
