Emmanuel Sowicz: Gracias a la Vida by Violeta Parra

Known as the "Queen Mother of Latin American folk", Parra's birthday was later chosen as "Chilean Musicians' Day" (October 4th). She she achieved incredible recognition for her work not only in South America, but also around the world. Popularized by Parra as well as Mercedes Sosa, this work is an expression of gratitude through music, and it was arranged for the guitar by the very instructor teaching it to you in this lesson.
