Creating atmosphere and a sense of musical direction for slow movements is not an easy task and often results in a blurry rythm, too much pressure and imbalanced lines. Today we will be looking and techniques and approaches to create that magical atmosphere for very slow pieces. For that we will be looking at different musical examples like "Cancion Triste" by Carlos Farinas, "Prelude no.5" by Francisco Tarrega and "Mouvement de priére religieuse" by Fernando Sor.
