This is a big one… I’d like to see Tonebase offer an accredited online conservatory degree, like Berklee, but for classical guitar.

Hi David, if you are in the US there is a Kenny Hill World Player model in 628 scale length. I have an older student in his 80s who doesn’t have great flexibility and this is a good guitar for him.…

@David Krupka it’s made by a local luthier in Romania. It’s an 8c Renaissance lute. I don’t play with nails so I get a nice lute sound but I really can’t handle those double courses.…

@Jack Stewart a few anecdotes should not give us the right to call Segovia a bad teacher. He may not have been the right teacher for some but for others he was a very good teacher.…

For me I’d have to say, hands down, Virginia Luque. She was the last student of Andres Segovia. I have never heard anyone play with such a combination of exquisite refinement and fiery passion.…
