Peg Barrett

I got my first guitar when I was 9 and learned to play chords and read. I studied music in college (piano) and did not know anyone played classical music on a guitar until I was about to graduate (1969). I promised myself that someday I would learn and 12 years later I began the journey. I have had good teachers, most notably Bruce Holzman, and participated in master classes. I love playing, but my late start and small hands have kept me from being goo above the intermediate level, although I do try some of the advanced repertoire. I'm really enjoying Tonebase.
