Songe Capricorne, composed for the "Concours de guitar classique d'Ile-de-France" quickly became one Dyens' most popular piece. While requiering a good amount of virtuosity, this piece will "whisk you off to a new but friendly world, very different from our everyday environment [...] where the sounds of today and modal memories of yesterday join in friendly rivalry" (Dyens). Together, we will explore the cascading harmonics and evocative soundscapes of the "Capricorne Dream".
