Albeniz and Granados were the leaders of integrating Spanish folk influences into the western classical canon. Both were virtuoso solo pianists and it is important to learn about their relationship with their instruments and lives to better understand their intricate, unique styles! 
This livestream will be hosted by our Piano Live Host Dominic to give you a pianist's insight into these pieces! It will be streamed simultaneously on tonebase Guitar and tonebase Piano!

The Iberia by Albeniz suite is amazing, and I've seen Alicia de Larrocha perform the complete set a few times many years ago. Truly a legendary artist! Jorge Caballero has done wonderful transcriptions for guitar of a few selections, which were performed on Bream's Hauser guitar at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. These transcriptions were never published, and when I followed up to ask him more than once about it, I got no reply. Is there anyone in our Tonebase community that has the skill and time to watch his performances online, and prepare the the sheet music notation from it?
