Hi George. So you put it on your guitar each time you play? I haven’t ever seen someone use a temporary one so am interested. My last 2 have had permanent arm rests?

Thomas Viloteau (tonebase instructor) makes one called "le support" https://www.lesupport.co/en it is very secure but large and somewhat cumbersome. But if you don't mind the size it's very adjustable and very solid

I like the Abel armrest. It is removable and supports a relaxed right hand position.

I use the Abel armrest also. Like it a lot.

I also use the Abel armrest, but have modified it by puting leather and a thin foam on top of the armrest.

May I ask you for what reason you want to add an armrest on your guitar; sound, comfort, weight, look, ...?

Wow! Thank you for all the great responses. Yes I am interested in one that can be removed and, hopefully not too cumbersome. My reason for getting one is two-fold.
I do notice a difference in the sound when my arm is lifted off of the top of the guitar and I have been experiencing some tendonitis in my right hand. Mostly the pinky. I'm not sure if the edge of the guitar is putting pressure on a nerve.
I figured I would give it a try. The Abel arm rest was one I was considering but thought it was a bit large. After hearing some of the comments I might give it a try. Thank you!!!

I came across the brand d'accordo, who make a removable armrest. I do not have any personal experience with this or any other armrest, but I thought I would mention it here all the same. A link to their website: https://daccordo-armrest.com/en-eu/products/armrest-standard
