Hi, I´d like to see Roman numeral analysis and harmonic function in easy to advanced level on many of the pieces inside the tonebase pieces. Would be fantastic.

    • Eric Thanks for the feedback! Can you name your top 3 tonebase pieces you'd like to see analyzed?

Ashley (Ash) Lucero  To add to my comment below, for me I'd like to learn how to do that myself as opposed to having X pieces pre-analyzed. How can we accomplish that?

  • Really Tal Hurwitz is one of the best teachers. I suggest a lesson about "Scales and Tremolo" with him (Tal Hurwitz).

José Antonio Escobar is one of my favorite guitarrist, I would prefer listen him in Spanish with subtitles. He is an expert in Latin music, I prefer him teaching about Chilean music, Colombian music. His recordings are a legend.

In the last lesson "Natalia" his English was not with fluency. This wonderful master deserves teaching in Spanish. With Ali Arango, I understood everything with subtitles and it was one the best lesson of tonebase.

Please!! I know José Antonio deserves more lessons but in Spanish!!!

I'd like to see more lessons on learning the keyboard, scales, ways to incorporate basics like that into analytical theory. I'd just like to know how to go about really learning the fretboard and how to move from that into analysis so I can memorize better. I think the lessons on specific pieces are nice but they come up when you search for theory and fretboard and I feel like there is no systematical transition from veeeeeery basic to analysis. What if you have no issues with notation etc. but that's all just a thousand notes. There is a big difference between being able to read pieces and transitioning to understanding the structures. I kind of feel like there is a chasm between grade 1 and grade 8 in a way as far as theory goes that I'd like to see filled.

  • How do you overcome performance anxiety? I play at the intermediate level but when I play in front of some one I play like its the first time I picked a guitar.  Its getting so frustrating that sometimes I feel like just giving up and only play for myself. People who hear me without my knowledge say I play o. k. Performance dyskinesia ? Insecure?

  • I really enjoyed the music theory course with Benjamin and Mircea even though the content was familiar I thought the presentation was original and captivating. I would like another course on harmony starting where this one finished.
