  • I really hope there will be another opportunity to perform in another tonebase community concert!

I would love to attend and perform, but that is the very day I am expected to become a Benedictine Oblate at St. Meinrad Archabbey in St. Meinrad, Indiana. I think I will be too distracted that day. ;)

    May everyone do well!

Martin Thanks. I think this contemporary piece take advantage of the guitar sonority, and creates this incredible atmosphere.

  • Thanks Martin for organizing , thank you all for your participation, support and patience.

Posting here too some lessons learned:

    - Stage fright does exist! I played worse than any of my performances in the last month. The one hour between the start of the rehearsal and the time I had to play was enough to "disconnect" me from the guitar and make me feel anxious.

    - I tried playing the prelude at a faster pace, which somehow I prefer. Note to self: do not start your concert with a fast piece! A slow one will be better, to (re)connect with the guitar in the concert setting .

I'll be looking for more tips and techniques to stay connected with the instrument and keep concentration under pressure.
